Diets
Our program uses three generalized diet options. These options are just the basic outlines for our diets. The doctor will discuss your eating habits and lifestyle to help you determine which diet suits you best. Many times the Physician will use a modified version of these diets to better fit the patient.
Full Meal Replacement – The full meal replacement diet consists of bars, shakes and soups. This diet is ideal for people who are always on the go or people that don’t want to worry with making self-prepared meals. This diet is usually recommended for patients who require significant weight loss.*
Partial Meal Replacement- This diet consists of bars, shakes, soups, oatmeal, puddings, snacks, and 1 self prepared meal daily. This allows people to still enjoy a meal with family and friends. This diet is usually recommended for patients with moderate to significant weight loss needs.*
Self-Prepared Meals – This diet consists self-prepared meals made with foods that can be purchased at any grocery store. You will be provided with a grocery list of foods as well as recipes. You will be asked to provide a list of foods that you enjoy, these will be worked in to your diet. Our theory is, if you enjoy what you are eating, you are more likely to succeed. This diet is usually recommended for patients with low to moderate weight loss needs.*
*These are only general guidelines for our diets. Each diet is formulated specifically for you, your lifestyle and your budget.
